Faerie Magick

Faeries have always been our initiators into magick and it is from them that I have learned much of my magickal teachings. My course in Faerie Magick is an invitation to delve into the imaginal realm, to weave the web of creation and manifest your dreams.

Dreaming is our gateway to the future. We are goal-oriented beings. We need to dream of a future so we can continuously improve ourselves and our lives. Dreams are the source of our motivation. Without them, life becomes too real, we have no purpose, and we begin to die.

As we develop spiritual awareness, we find that we can manifest our dreams and we gain confidence in our power. We lose all this power when our dreams are crushed. The current global situation has left many people in a state of bewilderment and uncertainty making it difficult to plan for the future and to follow some of our dreams. Creativity, which is key to manifesting our dreams, is being crushed leaving us despondent and depleted.

At this time in history it is more essential than ever to raise our vibration by tapping back into our source of creativity and imagination and breathing life back into our dreams. And the Fae, or faeries are there to help us.

What ARE faeries?

Before showing you more of what faerie magick can do, I want to clear up some common misconceptions about faeries which are largely propagated by fairy tale books.

Chauvinism ravages the perception of faerie. Singular authority makes us think we are the ruling authority, so faeries are seen as diminutive people. They are NOT little people with gossamer wings; they are about the same size as us. In early faerie myths, they were very magickal beings. Reducing them to small beings in children’s books was a way of taking the power away from ancient traditions.

They are not nature spirits. Many people who describe faeries are actually describing elementals. The same consciousness that becomes a human in our World, if it takes a different function and form by descending through the ethers into the faerie realm, will become a faerie. Faeries exist on a plane parallel to ours. They have similar form to us, but different boundaries. Their plane is that of the Spirit of Nature. This is also created out of the ethers, and inter-penetrates our world. It is what gives rise to life, evolution and magick.

Some consciousness takes a multi dimensional form. The Fae, or faeries, are multidimensional beings. It is exposure to such beings that causes our awareness to expand to understand the magickal dimensions. In India too, the places of spiritual power have faeries associated with them. Although the faerie magick I teach is mostly from the Celtic tradition, I also have initiation from Ratu Kidul, the faerie of the West Java Sea. All the great sorcerers in Java and India have worked with this being.

Since the faerie world is essentially the spirit of nature, there would be no magick without its existence. Whether we are conscious of them or not, our interaction with the faeries is what gives power to our magick, just as the four elements play an important role in the setting up of magickal space, whatever the tradition. Building a relationship with faeries and working with them consciously will therefore enhance all magick you practice.

Why would we want to work with Faeries? And why would they want to work with us?

First of all, the interaction causes us both to evolve. Faeries have such different boundaries to us that the interaction leads us both into greater complexity, ensuring upward evolution and the development of higher consciousness. Although there are many ways of ensuring this, the path of the faeries leads us most naturally to magickal development.

The first benefit one will notice is greater imagination. Since imagination is our primary tool of creation, strengthening and sharpening it increases our capacity to create. A greatly enhanced imagination is very useful for any kind of magickal practice. From this, clearer desire and expectation follow. Being open to magickal worlds is a sign that our minds are open to possibility. Those who have difficulty believing in faeries generally have less strong belief in magick. The simplest new age tools of visualization can start to produce miraculous results when one’s consciousness is open to the possibilities.

The next benefit, which directly follows on from enhanced imagination, is enhanced dreams. Working with lucid dreaming allows easier spiritual and personal growth, as you are basically working across the threshold between the conscious and unconscious minds. Working magick from the dream state is easy. Visualisations can be done in the dream state, which enter the unconscious easily, producing more regular results. You may also interact with your faerie friends in dream, so your dream time becomes very alive.

Faeries are far more expressive emotionally, and have greater imagination. This in itself allows far greater magick. They are not limited to 3 dimensions as are humans, but travel freely between planes. The strength and clarity of their dream magick comes from their ability to work in the imaginal realm. This is a place of wild, unharnessed creativity where imagination imagines itself. It is a plane that exists at the edge of the pre-conceptual.

When you enter the imaginal realm, you encounter an imagination far greater than your own. It adds to and feeds your imagination, unleashes your creativity, and propels you beyond your doubts, inhibitions and other limitations. Learning to work with the imaginal realm requires some serious training, but you can begin to benefit from it by allowing the faeries into your dream work.

Dreams can produce deep healing, provide answers to questions, solve problems, foretell the future, or provide a place of fulfilment of one’s deepest fantasies. Any magick done from the dream state is already much closer to the unconscious, and therefore manifests much faster.

Do you have faerie blood in your veins?

Our relationship with the Tuatha-de-Danann (who became the faerie people of Ireland) is very ancient. Many of us are born with faerie blood as we had past lives in the faerie realm. When we are born, the soul changes the DNA and it becomes part of our chemistry. If we have awakened in the faerie realm before, that’s where we want to come back to – it is our main potential – where we will wake up again – where it all comes back.

Course Overview

The course begins with a discussion of what faeries are, and are not, to clear up any misconceptions. You will then journey into the ethers and connect with elementals, and then go further into the faery realm to develop your unfamiliar senses and gain a deeper understanding of magick.

You will learn the faery runes, spells, and some rituals to dance your desires into manifestation. You will also connect to the spirits of herbs through dance. This will take you far beyond the limits of the rational mind, and build a profound connection to all nature, and to magick itself.

How to use this course

This online course consists of a detailed manual together with guided meditation and empowerment audios and some short videos. Together, these comprise the core teachings of the course. Also included are audio recordings of the original live workshop for added context and participant questions.

You are able to receive the empowerments by listening to the audio recordings. Occasionally (where indicated in the text) empowerments are given via an orb which is sent out to you with the course. It is stored in an energy ball which will activate when you do the meditation. At the appropriate places in the course, you can stop and meditate and call in the empowerment, just by making an affirmation that you are doing so. Then just sit and meditate as the empowerment works on you. Some of the empowerments have mantras or prayers to recite, which can be done after the meditation.

It is important to go through the course in the order given as some of the earlier empowerments are pre-requisites of empowerments later in the course.

Connection with Nature

Faerie Magick will take you far beyond the limits of the rational mind, and build a profound connection to all nature, and to magick itself.

Working with Elementals

Elementals live in the ethers. They are the Nature spirits, and the spirits of the four elements; air, fire, water and earth. It’s necessary for us to enter the realm of the Elementals first, as Nature spirits can act as portals into the Faerie world. Elementals also act as doorways to their own realm, so finding an elemental spirit somewhere in Nature will allow us to journey into their world.

Grokking

Grokking is used when we meet the elementals. This is a very important standard magickal practice, by which you let go of your identity and become something else. It develops a fluidity of consciousness, helps one release identities, and allows greater rapport with Nature and with the magickal realms.

The Magick Thread

A very powerful and versatile gift the Faerie magick bestows upon you is the thread with which you can weave the Web of Wyrd; the very fabric of reality. This is a multi-dimensional web that connects all things, and is like a scaffolding on which everything is created. Weaving this web allows you to influence time, space and fate.

There are three forms of thread:

3-dimensional thread - This thread is very versatile to use and you can be spontaneous with it. You can repair holes in your aura by weaving them. Your body has an etheric form, or web. When this energy structure is broken down, you have ill health. If you weave a new structure, then the body or organs can regrow themselves back to their divine blueprint so they become healthy. You can weave energetic structures to enhance your chakras.

Multidimensional thread - It can weave inter-dimensional connections to connect you to other realms, Angels, Gods etc. It can weave portals through space and time. And is used to heal and enhance chakras, as chakras are interdimensional portals. You can also weave spells, as spells have a multi-dimensional energy structure.

A-dimensional thread - It is beyond creation itself, and therefore closest to the creator. It takes our magick to the highest level, while bringing in something of the mystery. The spells and structures you weave will now come straight from Source. It connects you to oneness and redefines who you are. It facilitates powerful transformation.

Healing the Web

When healing at this level, it is beyond just healing the body - we have to resolve the past, heal relationships, and restore our dreams.. Your web holds your connections to others, your past and future lives, your connection to the world around you. When you weave it, you can heal all your relationships, to people, to fate, to money, to the earth and the stars. It can therefore change your astrology, change your luck, produce synchronicities and build the futures you desire. Let your intuition guide you.

Faerie Runes and Spells

Rune means whisper or secret. This is the language of Faeries. Spells spoken in this language have power. I give the Faerie runes so you can understand the energies that make up the spells. Be aware though, that these spells work only if you are in tune with Faeries. After these initiations, these spells have great power.

Faerie spells use natural items such as herbs and stones to host them, as these items have the right structure to match the resonance of the intention. The spells are chanted into the herb mixture, which is then sealed in a small ball of beeswax and charged. Carrying the charm, or sleeping with it under your pillow, affects your resonance to produce the desired change.
