How to join Zoom calls

Generally, just click the Zoom link on the Calendar & Access Links page.

You can join on PC or Mac Desktop or Laptop, tablet or iPad, Android or iPhone. You can also dial in if you have no internet connection.

It's best to join on a desktop or laptop for ease of use of the controls.

You don't need an account with Zoom in order to join a call - just click on the Zoom meeting link and download the software from the pop up window.

You can choose to use your real name or an alias to join - the name you choose will be shown in the attendee gallery window.

If you do have a Zoom account and do not wish to use your own name, make sure you are signed out of your Zoom account before you join the call.

You can chose to enable your webcam if you wish.

Please keep your mic on mute unless you have been invited to un-mute to ask a question.

You can ask questions via the chat box or can request to be un-muted to speak.
